Reece Muniz
Born in Arizona, Reece started performing two years ago and has since been performing in all the comedy clubs around the Glendale valley. He has recently started hosting comedians such as Orlando Leyva and Jamie Kilstein at the Stir Crazy Comedy Club.

A live interactive panel with the cast of the upcoming series, “The Garcias”, a reboot of the hit Nickelodeon series “The Brothers Garcia.” In the new series, we jump forward 15 years. The Garcia kids are grown up and now have children of their own, and we will see the extended Garcia family travel to the beautiful Riviera Maya in Mexico, a place full of self-discovery, where they will all learn what it really takes to be a “familia.” Moderated by Tito Caballero.

Tito Caballero is an international media and branding executive with career roles in broadcast content management, talent development, brand strategies, and emerging technologies. He has worked in both the Spanish and American media markets. Tito’s story is deeply rooted in a transformative bicultural America. Currently he is the Program Director for 104.5 Latino Hits in San Antonio and host/creator of the American Vida podcast, a meeting place for the Latinx community.

The original Brothers Garcia, Jeffrey Licon, Bobby Gonzalez and Vaneza Pitynski, as well as newcomers Nitzia Chama and Elsha Kim will participate as speakers of the panel, where they will recount their recent experience of shooting the series in the Riviera Maya as well as address the importance of a lighthearted and family-oriented Latino series in this day and age.

She has worked in television since the age of nine, hosting and co-producing a children’s educational TV program with her mother. Recently, Chelsea completed her first feature documentary, “Building the American Dream” which premiered at SXSW and was financially supported by the Ford Foundation, JustFilms, Latino Public Broadcasting and the Tribeca Film Institute.

Monique Sorgen
Award-winning filmmaker, Monique Sorgen was raised in the Castro district of San Francisco and her brutally honest and quirky comedic voice is the result of her unusual upbringing in this unique pocket of the world. She is a 2019-2021 fellow in the Sony Pictures Television Director’s program thanks to her award-winning short film, “Sorry, Not Sorry,” which is inspired by the William Carlos Williams poem, “This is Just to Say.”

Maria Burton
Named by Variety as “talent to watch,” Maria has directed 6 successful independent feature films, the latest of which are currently available on Netflix and Amazon. Burton is on the National Board of the DGA and a member of Alliance of Women Directors and Film Fatales. She’s currently working on an indie film, “MidLife,” and developing projects including “Searching for Tamsen Donner,” based on her mother’s award winning books.
